TCW Supports Child of Wales Awards

On the evening of Friday the 24^th, The Trade Centre Wales very proudly sponsored the ‘Young Sporting Hero’ award at the Child of Wales awards

The awards are dedicated to celebrating the inspirational achievements of the young people of Wales whilst raising money for charities across the country dedicated to helping children. 

The winner of this award was fifteen-year-old rugby enthusiast, Movado Hall, who had faced many challenges over the course of his life, falling into a cycle of spending his days on the streets, and getting into fights often ending up with police intervention

With continued support from those around him, he was given the opportunity to play the game he once loved again. Movado turned his focus from the streets back to rugby, becoming the first pupil from Greenhill school to be named captain of the victorious Cardiff schools team in the Dewar Shield.

Movado has shown an incredible amount of resilience and self-discipline and we are incredibly proud to dedicate this award to him!
