KitKlub Spotlight – Gorseinon AFC Under 9s

KitKlub has been on the road again, this time taking the spotlight to South West Wales, landing in Loughor and shining on Gorseinon AFC Under 9s!

Matchday was the focus of our documentary with a local derby being played out in front of parents, coaches, and Mike Doyle!

Coach Mike White gave us some insight into the club – “We are a grassroots team of mixed ability and the majority of the squad have been together since under 5s. The club has been going for 55 years and has a 1^st team, 2^nd team and now the junior sector is coming through. It has been running for three years”

One pitch side parent added “So important to get them off their devices, off TV, off social media and get them out in the fresh air and running around” “I think they like that have people here watching them. They love it, you haven’t got to drag them out, they are itching at the door to get out”
