KitKlub Spotlight – Cefn Cribwr RFC U11s

Cefn Cribwr RFC Under 11’s have become the latest team to shine in the KitKlub spotlight but this mini-documentary had some added superstar sparkle!

Brand Ambassador, Mike Doyle, was joined in Bridgend by former Wales and British Lions captain, Gareth Thomas, who passed on some training tips and talked to the kids about the importance of teamwork and inclusion.

Coach Alud Jones spoke glowingly about the KitKlub visit – “It’s great to have Gareth here, a hero of mine when I was growing up playing rugby.  He’s working magic with the kids out there, giving them some pointers not only on rugby but how to succeed in rugby, and the mental attitude they need to have towards sport and each other as a team.”

Gareth, who has represented Wales in both codes of rugby,  was impressed by the Under 11’s and had this to say about the evening – “For me this is a place that I look at with fond, fond memories of having fun, being with my friends.” He continued “Sport for kids at a young age is more than winning and losing, it’s about learning a skill that you will have for the rest of your life.”
