The new preparation area for The Trade Centre Wales.

The Trade Centre Wales, is one of the biggest car supermarkets in the country, and we’ve invested £2.8 million in a new workshop facility, expanding business growth and creating new jobs in the community.

We have recently invested £2.8 million in a new workshop facility, investing both in the business and the local community. Located in Neath Abbey, the new facility is set to be the largest of its kind within Wales. With 32 ramps in total, state of the art equipment and a paint shop facility, the new workshop is designed to support and service both The Trade Centre Wales sites in Merthyr Tydfil and Neath. It is expected that the workshop will create 60 new jobs for the local community, making it both an exciting venture us as a car supermarket and the local area.

As well as housing state of the art technology, the new workshop also houses a brand new customer care centre, building on The Trade Centre Wales’ already outstanding reputation for customer service. Open 7 days a week, the workshop is also designed to act as a distribution centre to service the current 2 sites at Merthyr Tydfil and Neath.

Mark Bailey, Chairman Said: “We’ve been waiting a long time for the development of our new workshops. We were due to expand on land acquired at Neath Abbey back in 2012, but due to the growth of the business and future plans we’ve patiently waited to acquire a larger piece of land located adjacent to the current showroom, which is double the size than previously planned.

It’s exciting times for everyone here at The Trade Centre Wales, as we speak the foundations are being laid and we can finally up the gears and output of our workshops to support our expansion of sites; which will start in 2015 in Cardiff”

The new workshop is just a part of our expansion in the South Wales area. Another 6 acres of land has been acquired at Neath Abbey, increasing the Neath site to a huge 9 acres. This expansion will provide storage for 350 cars, making it one of The Trade Centre Wales’ go-to sites for used cars.

As Wales’ largest car supermarket, we should be in the capital! Which is why in addition to the expansion at Neath, were are also due to open a new site in Cardiff in June 2015, a. This is certainly a testament to the success of the car supermarket, owned by Mark Bailey, which continues to grow from strength to strength. At present, the business is forecasted to turnover £70 million in 2015 and by 2016, they are expected to turnover in excess of £97 million and employ over 200 people across their 3 sites.
