Abergavenny Town Football Club Win The League

We are thrilled to say another team who we sponsor has also won the league! Abergavenny town Football Club took to the pitch Easter Bank Holiday weekend against Cwmbran to win 4-0.

Abergavenny Town gained promotion to the Welsh League Sat 4th April. This season has been an amazing journey getting to the semi final of the FAW Cup losing to Hollywell Town by the odd goal and staying undefeated in the League along the way to win it. Trade Centre Wales have stayed with us through the good and bad times always giving us the best equipment and supplying kits for our two teams and juniors for the last seven years. Without their help we wouldn’t have been able to get to the position we are in at the moment and a big thank you must go to Andy Wildy and Mark Bailey who have been fantastic. With ourselves and Merthyr both gaining promotion on the same weekend we hope that you enjoyed it as much as us, you deserve a lot of the praise for the success in being patient with us for all these years.

Going into the Welsh League is a daunting prospect but with Trade Centre Wales having assured they will keep supporting our venture is great news. Knowing this we can now plan and hopefully do you proud next season.
