Trade Centre Wales Support Growth and Opportunity at Afon y Felin

The Trade Centre Wales community engagement programme continues to gain huge momentum across local communities in South Wales, with our brand ambassadors and team working hard to make a lasting difference.
Recently, Gareth “Alfie” Thomas has been visiting schools and community projects that have benefitted from Trade Centre Wales sponsorship — showing our ongoing commitment to investing in local people, schools, and opportunities.
Alfie recently visited Afon y Felin, one of the schools we’ve proudly supported by providing netball kits, posts, and sports equipment. The school is soon to become part of an exciting super school project that will create enhanced facilities and shared community spaces for both children and adults.
One of the most exciting developments linked to this project is a food education initiative — focused on helping children and families learn where food comes from, how to grow it, and how to prepare it “from ground to table.” This initiative will provide hands-on education and life skills, encouraging healthier lifestyles and community pride in one of South Wales’ most deprived areas.
“It’s amazing to see how far Afon y Felin has come,” said Alfie. “These projects bring people together, teach valuable life skills, and give children and families a real sense of belonging and purpose.”

We believe in giving back to the communities that support us. From school sponsorships and sports equipment donations to food education projects and inclusive community events, our community engagement programme continues to expand across South Wales.
We’re proud to play a part in helping schools like Afon y Felin thrive creating opportunities for learning, wellbeing, and togetherness for generations to come.
Trade Centre Wales are proud to support South Wales communities, local schools, and future generations.
