On Friday evening, the Swansea Building Society Arena came alive with celebration, inspiration, and community spirit at the prestigious Child of Wales Awards. Trade Centre Wales was proud to sponsor the Community Champion Award, which this year was awarded to the remarkable Jack Griffiths for his outstanding contribution to the community.

Our brand ambassadors, Mike Doyle, and Gareth ‘Alfie’ Thomas had the honour of presenting Jack with his award on stage – a moment that truly highlighted the values of courage, kindness, and community that the awards represent.

The evening, hosted by Gethin Jones, featured a moving performance from Roachford, as well as a show-stopping performance from Luciano who lives near Newport, and who won the Best Young Performer Award. Luciano, who usually shares his voice with nursing home residents, gave a confident and heartfelt rendition of a Phil Collins classic, earning a standing ovation from the audience.

Mark Bailey, Founder and Director of Trade Centre Wales said of the awards “It’s an honour to support such an incredible event here in Wales that just gets better year on year”.

It was an unforgettable evening where the achievements of young people across Wales were celebrated in style. Congratulations to Jack, Luciano, and all of the inspiring winners who remind us what it means to make a difference.
