Trade Centre Wales Proudly Supports Maggie’s Cancer Care Charity
Thursday 27th November 2025
At Trade Centre Wales, community lies at the heart of everything we do and as part of our ongoing community engagement programme we are incredibly proud to support Maggie’s Cancer Care, a charity offering essential emotional, practical and social support to people living with cancer.
Recently, our brand ambassador Mike Doyle visited Maggie’s and experienced first-hand the warmth and comfort the centre brings to everyone who walks through its doors. Mike described the space as “very welcoming”, referring to one beautifully designed room as “a Scandinavian hotel.”
Lucia Osmond, Fundraising Manager, expressed how fortunate they feel to have such a tranquil and uplifting space: a place where visitors can truly relax and de-stress during extremely challenging times.
A Christmas Extravaganza to Remember
This year’s Christmas extravaganza in support of Maggie’s was a phenomenal success — a festive celebration at Swansea Building Society Arena filled with exceptional Welsh talent. Trade Centre Wales was delighted to have Mike Doyle involved once again, helping to bring together a lineup that showcased some of Wales’ finest performers.
The show also featured:
- Mike Stirling, West End star of Les Misérables
- Shelley Ann, the vocal powerhouse from The Voice
- Harry’s Youth Theatre, shining a spotlight on the next generation of Welsh talent
- Plus many more outstanding local artists.
Their performances created a truly magical evening, with proceeds helping to support the incredible work Maggie’s delivers every day.
Our Ongoing Commitment to Maggie’s
Maggie’s fundraising manager Lucia expressed her heartfelt appreciation for Trade Centre Wales:
“You have kindly given us a donation of £1,000, which is incredible. We are so grateful. We can’t do what we do here without the business community’s support. Thank you.”
To reinforce Trade Centre Wales’ dedication to this meaningful partnership, Mark Bailey, Founder and Director of Trade Centre Wales, shared his thoughts:
“Supporting Maggie’s is something we are incredibly proud of. The work they do changes lives, providing comfort, guidance and hope when families need it most. Being able to contribute, even in a small way, is a privilege, we are honoured to support Maggie’s as they help people across our communities.”
At Trade Centre Wales, we remain committed to giving back to the people and places that have supported us for so many years. Together, we can help make a meaningful difference.
