At Trade Centre Wales, we’re proud to continue our support for grassroots sport across South Wales — and few partnerships better capture the spirit of community than our relationship with Gorseinon RFC.

Through the provision of brand-new kits for every age group in the club, from the Under 6s all the way up to the senior sides, we’ve helped lift a huge burden from players, parents, and local sponsors at a time when finances are stretched for many.

“A Massive Boost for the Whole Club”

Matt Stoneham of Gorseinon RFC shared just how valuable this support has been for the club:

“The kits Trade Centre Wales have provided have been invaluable to the club. During a time where money is tight for everybody, this has taken a massive burden from parents and regulars, local business sponsors. Where these people have still been able to support us, money has gone on ‘nice to haves’ such as on-field kit and new training equipment, which would otherwise have been unaffordable. It has lifted the club.

“To have every team playing in the same kit, from the U6s to 50-plus-year-olds in the Second XV, brings a sense of unity and togetherness that we have not been able to achieve previously.”

More Than Just Sponsorship

Beyond the kits, the partnership between Trade Centre Wales and Gorseinon RFC has flourished into something far more meaningful. Matt continued:

“The continued support and availability of Mike Doyle and Gareth Thomas prove that this initiative goes beyond the kits and shows that Trade Centre Wales cares for the local community and the people within it. Their involvement has created a real sense of partnership rather than a one-off sponsorship. The time and effort they have given—whether through attending club events, checking in on our progress, or celebrating our successes—has made a genuine difference. It’s clear that their commitment isn’t just about branding or exposure; it’s about investing in the development of grassroots sport and the wellbeing of the families and volunteers who make it all possible.”

“Turning Heads in Our New Kit”

Thanks to this ongoing support, Gorseinon RFC can now focus more on what truly matters — playing, coaching, and nurturing the next generation of rugby talent.

“The pride our members feel when they pull on the club shirt is matched only by our gratitude to those who’ve made it possible,” Matt said. “This partnership has strengthened our identity, our morale, and our community spirit — and for that, we can’t thank them enough.”

The club’s main coach added that the team has been “turning heads in their new kit,” with players feeling a renewed sense of pride every time they take to the field.

Investing in Welsh Communities

Trade Centre Wales Founder and Director Mark Bailey said the company is passionate about giving back to the communities that have supported it over the years:

“Grassroots clubs like Gorseinon RFC are at the heart of our towns and communities. They bring people together, teach important values, and create lifelong memories. We’re proud to play a small part in helping them continue that work. Seeing every age group wearing the same kit with pride — from the youngest players to the veterans — is a powerful reminder of what local sport is all about: unity, passion, and community spirit.”

At Trade Centre Wales, we believe in investing not just in sport, but in people. Our partnership with Gorseinon RFC is one of many ways we’re helping Welsh clubs thrive — ensuring that grassroots sport continues to inspire, unite, and empower people of all ages.
