Trade Centre Wales Partners with Bridgend College for Staff Wellness Initiative
Thursday 22nd May 2025
Trade Centre Wales is proud to announce an exciting new community engagement partnership with Bridgend College as part of our ongoing commitment to employee wellbeing and community engagement.
Students from the Sports and Nutrition Department at Bridgend College recently visited Trade Centre Wales and launched a six-week fitness and wellness programme tailored specifically for six of our employees. This initiative is designed to promote healthier lifestyles, improve fitness levels, and support mental wellbeing in the workplace.
As part of the programme, students conducted initial fitness assessments, including weigh-ins and physical tests, to set individual baselines. Over the next six weeks, these dedicated students will monitor progress and provide ongoing support and tailored guidance for each of our employees.
This partnership provides real-world experience for the students while giving our staff the tools and motivation they need to prioritise their health. It’s part of Trade Centre Wales’ broader mission to invest in our people and strengthen ties with the local community.
Founder and Owner Mark Bailey shared his thoughts on the initiative:
“At Trade Centre Wales, we believe that the wellbeing of our people is the foundation of our success. Partnering with Bridgend College on this wellness initiative is a fantastic opportunity to support our staff while also giving back to the community. It’s inspiring to see students and employees working together to build healthier, more connected lives—this is exactly the kind of collaboration that makes a lasting impact.”
We look forward to checking back in with our team in six weeks to celebrate their progress and highlight the positive impact of this collaborative initiative.
