Trade Centre Wales Ambassadors Visit Caerphilly Dragons to Celebrate Young Champions

Trade Centre Wales Community engagement Ambassadors Mike Doyle and Welsh rugby legend Gareth Thomas (Alfie) paid a special visit to Caerphilly Dragons to celebrate the incredible achievements of their youth teams, and to continue strengthening ties within the local sporting community.

A particular highlight of the visit was to congratulate the Under-13 Blues team, who were recently crowned Division 1 Champions of the South Wales Women’s and Girls League (SWWGL). This fantastic achievement marks a proud moment not just for the team, but for the entire Caerphilly Dragons club.

The ambassadors spent time meeting players across various age groups, including:

• U6’s

• U9’s

• U12’s Roar

and the Division 1 champions the U13 Blues.

Mike Doyle and Alfie were full of praise for the dedication, talent, and team spirit shown by the players, coaches, and volunteers at the club. Their visit reinforces Trade Centre Wales’ commitment to supporting grassroots sports and fostering community pride across Wales.
