Beefys Big Welsh Walk for the NSPCC Chidline image

Sir Ian Botham has been in South Wales to launch his latest walk – which it is hoped will help raise £3m for the NSPCC. The England cricket legend unveiled Beefy’s Big Welsh Walk at the Vale Resort, Hensol, Vale of Glamorgan. The summer walk will see Sir Ian trek from Burry Port on August 6 to Cardiff Bay on August 8 and marks the start of the NSPCC Wales Appeal which aims to raise £3m in three years.


Mark Bailey and Co to tackle Mt Everest for the NSPCC image

A year or so ago Chairman Mark Bailey of Trade Centre Wales and his wife Rhiannon took on Machu Picchu. The Chairman of the Welsh Rugby Union, David Pickering, had recruited a team of former players and business colleagues to scale the 2,430 meter high peak of Machu Picchu in Peru to raise money for the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children).

2 parties of 10 members led by David Pickering including Mark and Rhianon Bailey, Peter Thomas and Howard Palser Successfully completed the 42km classic Inca trail. Mark and Rhianon have raised an incredible 24,000 pound and said 'Doing this trek was a breathtaking experience for everyone involved, Machu Picchu itself was awesome and worth every ounce of the energy expended on the trail.'


We Help Raise £90,000 For The NSPCC image

The Trade Centre Wales helped the NSPCC and Sir Ian Botham raise £90,000 for the NSPCC after his charity walk around parts of the Wales Coastal Path. ‘Beefy’s Big Welsh Walk’ started in Burry Port earlier this month. In the following two days Sir Ian Botham and a number of fundraisers walked in Carmarthenshire, Swansea and Cardiff Bay.


Trade Centre Wales Deliver 1,000 Cars in January image
