With the sun out at Govilon AFC as they kindly let us use their fantastic facility and with banter of who?s playing and who?s going to win building up to boiling point on Facebook and Twitter the evening of football which was organised by Miss Blaenau Gwent ?Emily Morgan? Raising money for The Joshua Foundation was always going to be a great spectacle. Kick off time! And both teams are finding their feet as most of the players haven?t kicked a ball for a few years and judging by some of the early tackles both teams mean business, With Skinners mounting the pressure early on and having some near misses it?s TCW who mounts a defensive attack and Paul England puts a belter in the back of the net.

he Trade Centre Wales are proud to sponsor Emily Morgan who is representing Miss Blaenau Gwent in this years Miss Wales 2011 at St Davids Hall Cardiff 29th July. 19 Year old Emily is a student from Tredegar who is currently studying art and design at Merthyr College with the ambition to become an art Teacher and one day have her own dress making business, She has already designed and made her first dress and has had the opportunity to model for designer Julian McDonald.

We would like to congratulate all the riders who took part in the charity bike ride for Shelter Cymru. After reading a letter from the organiser Richard (below) we were really proud to have been given the opportunity to sponsor Alec Stock on his journey through Paris given the tough conditions that Alec and all the riders faced! Shelter Cymru is Wales’ people and homes charity. Their vision is that everyone in Wales should have a decent home. They believe a home is a fundamental right and essential to the health and well-being of people and communities.

Zoe Thomas' sister Debbie was diagnosed with breast cancer just before Christmas last year. Zoe's Sister has since undergone a mastectomy and chemotherapy and has come through it with courage and humour.
