Trade Centre Wales will help celebrate the achievements of local heroes in Swansea by sponsoring this year’s Lord Mayor’s Summer Ball. Taking place at the Brangwyn Hall on May 10, the event, seen stars of sport, stage and screen come together to honour those who’ve made a difference to the city - while raising thousands of pounds for local charities.

South Wales’ largest used car showroom donates £1,100 towards football and netball kit for students at Penyrheol Comprehensive School. The money was used to purchase kits to be taken on tour to Florida, where the children competed against American teams in a series of tournaments. The kits will now continue to be worn for school games in the community.

The Trade Centre Wales supports community walkathon in Merthyr image

The Trade Centre Wales has given support to community initiative, The Merthyr Tydfil Walkathon, to get people active and raise money for local charities. This years’ Walkathon took place on the 13th of May. More than 600 people of all ages took part, raising over £5,000 in support of MacMillan Merthyr, Cancer Aid Merthyr and the Merthyr Tydfil branch of Alzheimer’s UK. The Trade Centre Wales supported the event by donating £2,500 for the t-shirts worn by participants.

Trade Centre Wales to open Europe’s largest used car showroom image

Trade Centre UK/Part of the MTR Bailey Trading Ltd, also trades as The Trade Centre Wales in the South wales regions, it is set to open Europe’s largest used car showroom in Coventry as part of growth plans outside its home ground. The Trade Centre UK shortly opens its £13 million used car outlet that will accommodate 1,000 cars with 400 housed indoor in the former premises of Leekes furniture store A444 Coventry.

The volunteer crew at The Mumbles have received a generous donation of £3,000, which will help pay towards the fuel for their all-weather Tamar class lifeboat.
