Backing Community Effort at Gorseinon 10K
Tuesday 5th May 2026
Trade Centre Wales continued its commitment to local communities last weekend, supporting the Gorseinon 10K as part of its ongoing Community Engagement Partnership Programme.
The BRISCO Gorseinon 10K brought the community together for an unforgettable day of fundraising, fitness, and support, raising vital funds for Morgan’s Army. The charity provides crucial support to families across South Wales facing a cancer diagnosis in a child or young person, ensuring no one faces that fight alone. Proceeds from the event will also support Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice.
Trade Centre Wales was proud to sponsor Morgan’s Army, with its very own Bread Ambassador, Gareth Alfie Thomas, among those taking part and showing support on the day.
There was also strong backing from Gorseinon Rugby Club, whose players ran in memory of a former young teammate lost to cancer. Wearing Trade Centre Wales jerseys, the team played a key role in the day – running, supporting, and fundraising by collecting donations from the crowd.
Mark Bailey, Founder and Director of Trade Centre Wales, said:
“Days like this show the true strength of our community. We’re proud to support Morgan’s Army and be part of an event that brings people together to make a difference. The support, the turnout and the spirit were incredible.”
Trade Centre Wales remains dedicated to backing local communities and causes that matter—through its community engagement programme, making a difference every step of the way.
