The radio commercials made for Trade
Centre Wales were named as the best UK
adverts winning the ‘Commercial Radio
Station Creative’ award category.
The adverts which play out on all local stations
in South Wales, featuring comedy character ‘Trevor’, beat of competition from hundreds of
entries from radio stations across the UK.
Andy Griffiths, who is Swansea Bay Radio’s
Marketing Director and producer of the
commercials said: “These awards are radio’s
equivalent of the Oscars and we’re proud to
bring the award home to Wales. |
It’s now time to reveal the identity of the voice
behind Trevor as Welsh Entertainer Mike
Doyle, who does all the voices on the ads.”
Trade Centre Wales’ Marketing Director, Steve
Richards said: “In a very competitive business
we needed to stand out from the crowd. Trevor
has been phenomenally successful in doing
this. Customers come in to Trade Centre
Wales quoting catch phrases from the
commercials and asking for his autograph”.
